ClassesUSA.com Partners With MSN Encarta Serving Millions of Users with Lifelong Learning Resources
New York, March 12, 2002- ClassesUSA announces a partnership with Microsoft's MSN to power their Encarta eLearning center. Encarta recently added an eLearning channel to complement its channels for K-12 learning. ClassesUSA provided the perfect fit with its leading marketplace for professional, recreational and personal continuing education classes. As a result, MSN users can now search for continuing education classes and enroll in a simple, convenient online session. This strategic relationship also allows Encarta's users access to ClassesUSA's premiere multi-channel network of featured colleges and universities and award-winning editorial resources.
As the interest in online learning is exploding, educational institutions -large and small- are turning to ClassesUSA's marketplace, which empowers consumers to find and register for any class anywhere. Bridging consumers to education suppliers, ClassesUSA provides a vehicle for lifelong learners to find and act more easily upon a diverse selection of adult education classes.
In 2002, ClassesUSA also partnered with eBay, broadening its audience by connecting to eBay's 38 million registered users. The ClassesUSA and MSN Encarta partnership will further expand ClassesUSA's users to include the millions of Encarta eLearning Center students searching specifically for online and classroom adult education classes.
ClassesUSA's vast library of adult continuing education classes and online degree programs information is from the industry's leading educational institutions including University of Phoenix, DePaul University, Capella University, Smart Force, Penn State World Campus, Villanova University, and Magellan.edu.
"With ClassesUSA, we have created a leading online and offline marketplace for researching, buying, and selling continuing education classes and supplies," said Jordon Keltz, Chief Operating Officer at ClassesUSA, Inc. "Our unique, Internet-based lifelong learning portal offers consumers a convenient, comprehensive, and personalized source of class information and services and satisfies the needs of a broad range of class providers to market and sell classes cost-effectively and in a market-specific manner."
